Optimal capacity of solar photovoltaic and battery storage for grid‐tied houses based on energy sharing

This paper determines the optimal capacity of solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage (BES) for a grid-connected house based on an energy-sharing mechanism. The house, also mentioned as 1 where it is relevant, shares electricity with 2 under mutually agreed fixed price. objective to minimize cost (COE) while decreasing 2. Practical factors such real data insolation, consumption, grid constraint, ambient temperature, rate, degradation are considered actual data. developed methodology examined by taking load two houses in South Australia. Different scenarios contract years between investigated make more practical life. Sensitivity analyses conducted sharing changing parameters like export power limitation, houses, costs PV BES. Likewise, operational analysis done days summer winter. It found that when applied, design PV-BES system will achieve lower COE both houses.
